AMPAI, Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes announced that their Common Entrance Examination, CEE-AMPAI-2016-WB, considered equivalent to WBJEE, will be conducted on June 5, 2016, this year.
Though this examination is conducted by a minority organization, yet anyone who fulfils the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam. There are seat provisions from non-minority categories as well. Candidates who have Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects and either of Chemistry, Biology and biotechnology are eligible to appear.
In its 3rd edition, along with B.Tech and B.Pharm courses successful candidates can study MBA, MCA and M.Tech a well.. This year CEE-AMPAI examination will be held at 18 centers spread across the length and breadth of the country namely, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. There are no negative markings in these exams which can be taken in English, Hindi and Bengali.

Commenting on the occasion, Sardar Sohan Singh, Secretary – AMPAI said, “Since its inception in 2010, the aim of AMPAI has been facilitating higher education opportunities in the field of engineering and healthcare to meritorious students across the country. This year we expect more than 5000 students to appear for CEE”
Application form is available at www.ampai.in till June 2 while offline one can apply till may 31 by paying an application fee of 200 INR.
