‘Protikar’ Web and Mobile based solution for The Grievance Redressal Management System for the PRIs of West Bengal. A flagship project completed by West Bengal Panchayat Department under the ISGPP project.

Minister in charge Subrata Mukherjee told people will get benefited out of this systems as it will create pressure on the government machinery to work in a time bound manner as expected by CM Mamata Banerjee.

The World Bank officers were very happy to inform that this is the landmark project executed by Government of West Bengal and now it is the first of its kind in the World.

World Bank must have a notion change about West Bengal that a state which is always last bencher how it has come to the Top and even moving ahead. World Bank officers praised Subrata Mukherjee for his dynamic leadership and guidance.

Mr. Sourabh Kumar Das Principal Secretary told that indirect employment and training will help rural people.

Even Panchayats can submit financial data and that is getting audited by third party government agencies was also first time in the country.

A demonstration of the system given to all and Mr.Subrata Mukherjee Honorable Minister told media that budget Allocation fund and World Bank assist will directly go to the Panchayats as per their eligibility rank.

In 2015-16 Financial year per capita 138 Rupees as grant has been distributed. Target completed in 2015-16 Financial year by 995 panchayats compared to 2010-11 Financial year was only 741. External audit completed in all 1000 in 2015-16 while it was 995 in 2010-11.

The districts are Bankura(113 GP),Birbhum(99GP),Bardhaman(165 GP),Coochbehar(76 GP),South Dinajpur(39 GP)Howrah(93 GP),Nadia(111GP),West Midnapur(172 GP) and East Midnapur(132 GP) ***GP stands for Gram Panchayats.

Total 3400+ Panchayats will be benefited and will come under this project this first phase was with 1000 panchayats now this will be extended to all.
