About five to nine gunmen attacked a Spanish restaurant visited mostly by foreigners in the Gulshan diplomatic area of Dhaka, Bangladesh, today.Just like Mumbai Terror 26/11 what Kasav and team done in Mumbai, India;this incident is similar to that terror act.

According to unconfirmed reports, 30 people, including foreigners are believed to have been held as hostage inside the restaurant. One Indian and Japanese are in the hostage as reported by Farhana Nayem our Dhaka correspondent.

Banani Police station Officer in Charge Mr.Salauddin reported to be Dead in the assault. The actual area is near US embassy of Dhaka,Gulshan 2 road 70 Holey Art Sun Bakery Restaurant is the conflict point. Also, nearly 30 people have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

Negotiation with the terror group is on as Officials in Dhaka said;  the Bangladesh home minister calls for an emergency meeting to handle the crisis.

Sources say that the attackers targeted mostly the foreigners present inside the restaurant at that time. Though none has claimed the responsibility but doubt is Islamic terror factor ISIS is behind that or any sister organization linked to them.

Farhana Nayem reported that the attackers charged bombs and were firing randomly, injuring some policemen and people critically.

“We are trying to negotiate with the gunmen holed up inside the restaurant,” Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) chief Benazir Ahmed told newsmen.

According to police, about five armed men entered the restaurant and opened gunfire around 9.15 pm (local time) (GMT +6).

The foreign ministry has said that all Indian officials are safe and the Indian high commissioner is closely monitoring the situation.

Further to the report Ms. Nayem said about 5-9 attackers young like Kasav of Mumbai 26/11 terror, entered the Holi Art Sun Restaurant, popular among foreigners, and opened gunfire.

Our reporter quoted local channel and a kitchen staff worker Sumon Reza, a superviser at the Holey Artisan bakery who luckily escaped the attack, as saying that the gunmen chanted “Allahu Akbar” (God Is Great) as they launched the attack.

Policemen and Rapid Action Battalion have cordoned off the restaurant with huge armed forces.

Meanwhile, the US embassy in Dhaka tweeted about the possible hostage situation and warning all US citizens in the country to stay indoors :
