Both singers, Nachiketa Chakraborty and Madhusmita Bhattacharya along with Rajat Kakar, MD Sony DADC were present at the do.
Just like its name, ‘Setu’, suggested by Nachiketa, is a melody bridge between him – a Bengali and her – an Assamese. Out of 8 songs in total, this – first bilingual album from the region, consists of 5 Bengali songs composed by Nachiketa while rest three – all Assamese songs – are by Jateen Sarmah, Mumbai- settled Assamese sound engineer and music director and by Palash Gogoi. Save lyrics of one song penned by Hiren Gohain, all are penned by Rajdeep.
