Rain played the spoiler role in the enjoyment mood of Kolkata for the last day of Durga Puja Nabami saw a heavy rain in the afternoon and in the evening as well. Complete anti climax for the pandel hoppers of Kolkata. But those with brave heart tried their best to enjoy the last night with full charge.
Ekdalia Evergreen saw the heavy weight minister of Didi Mamata’s Cabinet Mr. Subrata Mukherjee to offer prayers with full rituals. Minister was no more a VVIP for the people and fans of his illustrated career from his locality as well as his fans across Bengal. Every one was busy to take picture with Subrata Da.
IBG NEWS too had the privileged to spent time with Mr. Mukherjee he wished readers and viewers of IBG NEWS a very happy Durga Puja and Dashera.
While in the north of Kolkata Narasingha Avenue had a gala party for the launch and food for the residents. Eminent lawyer Amales Roy was the president of the Durga Puja 2016 and a new set of team proved to be more than efficient to make the Puja a grand successful one.
Kazi Para too was not far behind with idol made of pencils and Rastraguru Avenue set up the whole Mahabharata episode for this Puja.
Kolkata will wait again for next puja but the fragrance will continue few more days for this puja in the heart of the locals.
