Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Goofy,Pluto,Daisy Duck, Mulan, Snow White, Lizzy McGuire, Tinker Bell. What do all these show remind you of?  The famous Disney Channel right? And when we are talking about this big cartoon channel we have to thank the creator of this channel right and that is none another but the famous Walt Disney.

He introduced Mickey Mouse when he was himself afraid of mice!

Born in the year 1901 on December 5th at Chicago, IL.

He died at the age of 65 on December 15, 1966, And his sun sign was Sagittarius.

Animator, voice actor, producer, and entertainer who founded The Walt Disney Company and created the iconic character Mickey Mouse. He produced such classic films as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio and Cinderella.

He worked as an ambulance driver for the Red Cross in France.

Over the course of his storied career, he set a record for Oscar wins with 22 as well as Oscar nominations with 59. He also received 4 honorary Oscars.

He founded The Walt Disney Company with his brother Roy O. Disney. He married Lillian Bounds in 1925. He had two daughters: Diane and Sharon.

He lost the rights to one of his earliest characters Oswald the Lucky Rabbit when he left the distributor Universal Pictures in 1928. In 2006, The Walt Disney Company traded sportscaster Al Michaels to NBC Universal as part of a package that included the renewal of ownership for Oswald.
