Tram Deepo launches IPL Combo Meal

Love cricket and food then your destination this month must be at Tram Deepo a great veg restaurant to enjoy food with cricket in IPL style.
Tram Deepo, Calcutta’s first tram-themed “restro bar and club”, on the second floor of 45 Jhowtalla Road in Ballygunge is a part of the city’s heritage as the Tram is an iconic Calcutta symbol.
The tram theme restaurant is one of its kinds. The 50-seater space has high chairs as tall as barstools. You feel high seated on them, even without a drink. The floor in the bar section looks like the Calcutta roads, made with stone chips and tar, and complete with potholes! The elevator takes you directly to the 3,600sq ft pub. You walk out and step on tram lines. The bar is 30ft long. The blue-and-white Calcutta tram cut-out is a great selfie spot.
As you sit in the second section, which has a more lounge-y feel, and you’ll be sitting right inside a tram compartment. Pick your ‘deepo’, er depot, from Ballygunge, Kalighat, Tollygunge and Esplanade. Right outside this is the DJ’s console, where the decor highlight is a loop of wheels in the ceiling that will rotate in sync with the music.
