Zafire events & Kol Events organized a event named “WE THE WOMEN” on the May Day to associate a talk show on Labor Day and connect to the Women as workers of the world.

Eminent personalities & celebrities were present on that day, where we had a panel discussion along with the panelists of eminent scholars from all walks of life :-

  • Mr.Debashis Sen
  • Mr.Ritobroto Bhattacharya
  • Ms.Joie bose
  • Ms.Basabi Chakraborty
  • Ms.Malabika Desai
  • Ms.Reshmi Bagchi
  • Ms.Amartya mukhopadhyay
  • Mr.Sudarshan Chakraborty.

Evening was electrified with the expressions of the minds and the panelist all have opened up to express themselves with honest confession about their feelings about the gender equality.

The event was started with the lighting of the lamp by the celebrity speakers like Mr. Jimmy Tangree Head of 91.9 Friends FM and Ms. Richa Sharma previously crowned Mrs. India International.

The Chief Guest was Mrs. Sila Ghosh a 89 years old lady who makes a living by selling eatables out side Haldiram near Exide crossing. A role model for many as women labor with honor.

MLA Sujit Bose gave a spirited speech about women and their support towards making a man successful.

Ritabrata explained why film industry had mixed opinion about women and he showed high regards for all working women.

Sudarshan Chakraborty the eminent contemporary dancer explained about taboos associated with the Dance and performing Art in India while western culture is open for experiments.

While ace pschychologist Malabika Desai told that how perception is changing about man women relationship in present context.
