Kolkata: Jio facilitated a LIVE interaction on August 21 for college students from various institutions across India, with the winners of Femina Miss India 2017, Manushi Chhillar, Sana Dua and Priyanka Kumari.
Jio became the digital content partner for the activity, making possible for as many as 150 students from Seth Soorajmull Jalan Girls’ College in Kolkata to connect with the three young achievers sitting in a Navi Mumbai studio to have a LIVE interaction, thanks to the high-speed internet on Jio’s 4G-LTE network.
Seth Soorajmull Jalan Girls’ College, Kolkata, is one of the Wi-Fi-enabled ones in this region, with Wi-Fi facilities provided by Jio. Several other such colleges from across the country participated in the event simultaneously.
The three beauty queens took questions from the students in real time, while sharing stories of their ‘Road to the crown’ – the challenges and preparation they had to go through and the experiences they had while contesting for the top spot.
The young students also had the opportunity to hear from the divas how life changed for them on winning the beauty crown, as well as the responsibility they now shoulder, of representing India as they prepare for further contests on the international stage.
These young women, with their immense talent, are an inspiration to the current generation of youngsters. The event also brought delight to JioChat [JioChat channel – Premier @ JioChat] users – the digital audience for the event – since their questions too were picked up by the young divas and answered elaborately.
