West Bengal is becoming Best Bengal – Captains of Industry shower praises on Didi
The fourth edition of Bengal Global Business Summit began today amid much fanfare. Leading industrialists, captains of industry, diplomats, academicians and entrepreneurs were present at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre for the plenary session of the summit.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by the who’s who of industry. From Mukesh Ambani to Laxmi Mittal, Sajjan Jindal to Kishore Biyani, Sanjeev Goenka to Aloke Lohia, Ajay Singh to Uday Kotak – every captain of industry praised the State Government for the investment-friendly initiatives. They also sang praises of Didi’s leadership.

বাংলার প্রশংসায় পঞ্চমুখ দেশ-বিদেশের শিল্পপতিরা
শুরু হল চতুর্থ বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন ৷ দু’দিনব্যাপী বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনের প্রথম দিন দেশ-বিদেশের হেভিওয়েট শিল্পপতিরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন নিউটাউনের বিশ্ব বঙ্গ কনভেনশন সেন্টারে ৷
এবছরের বিশ্ববঙ্গ সম্মেলনে মোট ৯টি সহযোগী দেশ রয়েছে। সহযোগী দেশগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে জাপান, জার্মানি, ইতালি, ব্রিটেন, ফ্রান্স, পোল্যান্ড, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া এবং চেক প্রজাতন্ত্র। এছাড়াও বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে অংশ নিয়েছে আরও ৩২টি দেশ। রয়েছে পাঁচটি ‘ফোকাস সেক্টর’— শিল্প পরিকাঠামো, উৎপাদনমুখী ক্লাস্টার, নগরোন্নয়ন, তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি ও পরিষেবা এবং পরিবহণ।

সজ্জন জিন্দল (এম ডি ও যে এস ডবলু গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান): ইতিমধ্যে রাজ্যে শিল্প স্থাপন করেছি আমরা। একদিন আগেই শালবনিতে সিমেন্ট কারখানার উদ্বোধন করে এসেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী স্বয়ং। সেখানে ৮০০ কোটি বিনিয়োগ করা হয়েছে। আরও ৩০০ কোটি বিনিয়োগ করছি। এবং বিদ্যুৎ ও সৌরবিদ্যুৎ ক্ষেত্রে ৪০০ কোটি ছাড়াও আরও দশ হাজার কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করা হবে বাংলার জন্য। বাংলায় শিল্পের দুয়ার খুলে যাবে।

ফিউচার গ্রূপের চেয়ারম্যান কিশোর বিয়ানী: আমি চিরকাল বলে এসেছি বাংলাই আমার কর্মভূমি। আমরা এখানে আমাদের Data Lake গড়েছি। সারা দেশে বাংলায় বাণিজ্য করা সবচেয়ে খরচ-সাশ্রয়ী। শুধু কথা নয়, দিদি কাজে করে দেখিয়ে দিয়েছেন।
আরপি সঞ্জীব গোয়েঙ্কা গ্রূপের চেয়ারম্যান, সঞ্জীব গোয়েঙ্কা: বাংলায় বানিজ্য ও উদ্যোগপতিদের সমাদর করা হয়। এখানে আমরা মর্যাদা, সম্মান, ভালোবাসা পাই। কয়েক বছর আগে মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এক আন্দোলন শুরু করেন, যার ফল হাতেনাতে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। শিল্প, সামাজিক কল্যাণ, নাগরিক সুবিধা, পরিকাঠামো – সব ক্ষেত্রেই পরিবর্তন এসেছে। এই সরকার হৃদয় দিয়ে কাজ করে। সেই কারণেই ইন্ডিয়া টুডের সমীক্ষায় দেশের সেরা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিসেবে উঠে এসেছে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নাম।
ইন্দোরামা ভেঞ্চারের কর্ণধার, অলোক লোহিয়া: গত ২৪ ঘন্টার আমার অভিজ্ঞতায় আমি অভিভূত। বাংলা মানেই বাণিজ্য। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নেতৃত্বে বাংলা এক অর্থনৈতিক প্রাণকেন্দ্র হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করেছে। বাংলাই ভারতের প্রবেশদ্বার।
অজয় সিং (স্পাইসজেটের চেয়ারম্যান): বাংলা যে এগিয়ে চলেছে তার অন্যতম কারণ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের উদ্দম কর্মশক্তি। স্পাইসজেট ইতিমধ্যেই বাংলায় বিনিয়োগ করেছে। ৭০টি বিমান চলাচল করে বাংলায়। আগামী কয়েক বছরে বৃদ্ধি হবে সংখ্যা। দুর্গাপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে আমরা বেঙ্গালুরু ও হায়দ্রাবাদে বিমান পরিষেবা চালু করব। আমরা পশ্চিমবঙ্গের গঙ্গাসাগর ও সুন্দরবনে সি-প্লেন পরিষেবা চালু করতে চাই। বাংলায় সি-প্লেন গড়ার হাবও গড়তে চাই।
উদয় কোটাক (কোটাক মাহিন্দ্রা ব্যাঙ্কের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান): আমরা সকলেই জানি সূর্যোদয় হয় পুবে। এতদিন বাংলার সামর্থ্য ছিল কিন্তু মানসিকতা অভাব ছিল। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের হাত ধরে এসেছে মানসিকতায় পরিবর্তন,হয়েছে নতুন সূর্যোদয়।মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সৌহার্দের জন্য ওনাকে ধ্ন্যবাদ জানাই। আমার বিশ্বাস বাংলা আবার ভারতসভায় শ্রেষ্ঠ আসন লবে।
