STARMARK RE-OPENS ITS SOUTH CITY MALL STORE
Kolkata, January 19, 2018: Starmark, an Emami Group Venture, re-opened its South City Mall store with a new, international design and feel, quenching the thirst of book lovers of the city after a long wait of one year. Present on this occasion were Shri R. S. Agarwal and Shri R. S. Goenka, Jt Chairmen, Emami Group, Shri Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay, eminent litterateur, Dr. Sugata Bose, eminent historian and politician, and Ritabhari Chakraborty, popular model & actor.
Spread across an area of 15,000 sq. ft., Starmark is back with an international look with a customer-friendly and spacious layout and décor. It is going to offer an exciting world of books, stationery, toys, art & craft materials, games, music, gifts and a dedicated section for children.
Bearing in mind the present-day customer preferences, special importance has been attached to make the store browser-friendly, with enough space to make movement easier.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr Gautam Jatia, CEO Starmark said, “Starmark at South City Mall has been a much loved retail destination for Kolkatans. We are now back with a new feel and a larger collection to give them a richer experience. The range of products is very wide, with a whole section dedicated to gaming and an exclusive teenagers’ book section. In the books section, we now have more publishers and titles, and imported imprints for the book lovers of Kolkata. We have paid minute attention to categorise our products and make our customers’ visits to Starmark more appealing.”
