Kabir is a war crime-thriller movie, starring Dev and Rukmini Maitra as hero and heroine respectively. Based on the real-life incident of terror attacks in Mumbai. The story saw the start with Kabir following Rukmini in a train journey from Mumbai to Kolkata. Yasmin the lady terror factor was also in the same train.Kabir slowly unfolds his dark side and reveals his mission to Yasmin as he kept Yasmin as a hostage.
Dev maturing as a versatile actor and is the main highlight of the film. Rukmini Maitra did justice to her role. Shataf Figar hits up the screen with his charismatic presence. Priyanka Sarkar with a short role moved everyone in the movie.
The story is brilliantly penned down by Aniket Chattopadhyay and Kabir is a well-presented movie and a great outcome of brilliant dialogues and his genius direction. The movie has only one song, that too is very aptly inserted as the background score for the movie.
