Starmark hosts the launch of Pradip Biswas’s ORION – A POETRY COLLECTION in the presence of Soumitra Chatterjee as the Guest of Honour
Kolkata, July 5, 2018: Kolkata’s largest bookstore chain Starmark hosted the launch of Pradip Biswas’s ORION – A POETRY COLLECTION at its Quest Mall outlet here today. Present at the launch as the Guest of Honour was the eminent film personality Soumitra Chatterjee.
About the author
Pradip Biswas is an acclaimed film critic and has been active in aesthetics of film criticism for over four decades. His immense fund of critical sensibilities saw him contribute to various publications such as Hindusthan Standard, The Telegraph, Amrita Bazar Patrika, The Sunday Mail and others. Presently he is writing for The New Sunday Express, The Financial Express, The Indian Express and Shomingeki (Germany). He has written many books—Buddhadev Dasgupta: Cinema of Imprinted Times, Sandip Ray: Take One, trilogy on Nabendu Chatterjee and many others. He is a recipient of the Kalakar Award.
