Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) holds a kavi sammelan

with well-known poets from 11 States on Linguistic Harmony Day (November 21),

as a part of its celebrations of the Qaumi Ekta Week (National Integration Week, November 19 to 25) based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Kolkata, November 21, 2018: On the Linguistic Harmony Day today, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) held a kavi sammelan with the participation of well-known poets from 11

States as a part of its celebrations of the Qaumi Ekta Week (National Integration Week, November 19 to 25), based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The well-known poets who took part in the kavi sammelan were Tulika Chetia Yein from Assam, Bhusan Tyagi from Bihar, Dr. Sunil Tarun from Karnataka, Ravindra Ravi from Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Rajnikant Mishra from Maharashtra, K. Sarita from Manipur, Dr. Debashis Mohapatra from Odisha, Chandra Kanta Mura from Tripura, Dr. Shlesh Gautam from Uttar Pradesh, Neeraj Naithani from Uttarakhand, and Shibashis Mukhopadhyay from West Bengal.

Present on this occasion were Sm. Gouri Basu, Director, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Dr. Saubhagya Vardhan, Director, North Zonal Cultural Centre, Dr. Mihir Kumar Sahoo, Officer-in-Charge, Eastern Region, Sahity Akademi, and Sm. Nilanjana Roy of Sanskar Bharati.
