West Bengal scouts its top 3 girls at the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2019
They are gratified with a golden ticket to the East Zonal
crowning ceremony in Kolkata on 23rd April, 2019.
Kolkata, 7th April, 2019: India’s most exciting, glamorous and credible beauty pageant is here and commenced its talent hunt at the fbb / Big Bazaar store at Shakespeare Point, Kolkata. The auditions received an overwhelming response and large crowds cheered over 100 contestants participating from all parts of the state. The auditions were judged by Prarthana Sarkar,fbb Colors Femina Miss India West Bengal 2018; Snehasish Bhattacharya, Renowned Fashion Designer ; Mohammed Iqbal, Model.
The details of the top 3 winners of West Bengal are:-
NEHA JHA, SUSHMITA ROY and MADHUMITA DAS
The most deserving candidate from each of the 5 states of the East Zone i.e. Miss India Chhattisgarh, Miss India Bihar, Miss India West Bengal, Miss India Jharkhand and Miss India Odisha along with the State Winners of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim will represent their state at the grand finale which is going to be held in Mumbai in June on 15th June 2019.
To take charge of the proceedings for the East Zone, Neha Dhupia will be mentoring the girls. She enthusiastically quoted, “I started my journey with Miss India and since then it has been a never-ending relationship with the pageant. Every year I see a fresh lot of ambitious and enthusiastic girls with the dream to win the Miss India and make India proud at the prestigious Miss world. I’m looking forward to have Manushi’s successor this year.”
