World Confluence of Humanity, Power and Spirituality promulgates tolerance through spirituality

Kolkata, December 27, 2019: The twelfth edition of the World Confluence of Humanity, Power and Spirituality (“Confluence”) organised by Kanoria Foundation promulgated a culture of tolerance through spirituality and inspired a diverse gathering of eminent industrialists, political leaders and celebrities from across the globe.

The Confluence engaged scholars and intellectuals from different walks of life in dialogues on how spirituality encourages tolerance which is essential for sustainable development of the society and welfare of the citizens. The discussions brought forward a plethora of ideas that can act as guiding principles for creating an environment of acceptability which is quintessential for peace and harmony; and critical for growth and development of the nation. The Confluence also saw convergence of concepts for creating an enhanced ecosystem for the benefit of all the stakeholders.

The two-day Confluence at The Westin Rajarhat, Kolkata was inaugurated by Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri. Jagdeep Dhankar,in the presence of Dr. H.P. Kanoria, Trustee Chairman, Kanoria Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. H.P. The cost of this violence is estimated to be around 12.4% of global GDP. In an environment of uncertainty and intolerance, the poor gets affected the most. Hence, we need to break this cycle. Principles of spirituality govern harmonious co-existence of everyone in the society. Therefore, understanding the importance of spiritual values amongst individuals, organisations, and the society at large has become increasingly important. Kanoria Foundation is dedicated towards the spirituality based culture of righteousness, devotion to work, pure intentions, respect, unity, peace and similar such values. This year’s Confluence is aimed at promulgating a culture of tolerance through spirituality.”
