Indian Premier League, the most popular T20 domestic tournament on a Global scale got suspended for this year amid COVID-19 infection.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has indefinitely postponed the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 after COVID positive report came for several players and support staff.
“We have suspended the IPL for now. The new window will be worked out later on. A statement will follow soon,” Patel told the press.
The remaining matches will be held at Mumbai only, but not scheduled as of now. As of now, the people’s safety is the most important for the BCCI also safe return of people to their home including COVID-19 positive persons.
