Education policy for any country is the foundation stone for the Human Resource development and future of the country. India is no different  than the others.

Minister of Information Technology of West Bengal Shri Bartya Basu inaugurated the round table conference of New Education policy organised by Education Promotion Society of India and APAI jointly on 29th Sep 2016 just before the penultimate day of the peoples suggestion acceptance on New Education Policy 2016 by Government of India.

During the speech Bartya Basu told education can not be forced by Center under the federal structure and at the same time it is democratic right for the people with out any barrier.

Dr. Viswanath Chancellor of VIT told that expenditure of GDP must increase in Education as India is not in first 80 countries of the world in terms of expenditure.

Dr. Chaturvedi Director of BIMTECH informed that despite Jadavpur and Kolkata University got the 1st and 2nd position respectively in the list of TOP Indian Universities still Bengal is lagging behind in over all Education. Once the number one state is now behind many states in terms of education.

Capital expenditure must be about 20000 Indian Rupees for making Bengal education back in to the shapes.

Suman Munshi Director of Kingstong School of Management and Science expressed concern over the quality of infrastructure in private organization in education sector. A strong vigilance is required for constant monitoring of malpractices in private sectors. The expert group agreed to his views and requested to send details plan for the same.

Sardar Taranjit Singh MD of JIS group told that his endeavor to ensure quality of education will continue forever.

Techno India Head Satyam Roy Choudhury explained the present condition of the Technical Education and Private University conditions in West Bengal.

Dr Sajal Dasgupta Director of the Directorate of Technical Education in Higher Education Department of West Bengal added valuable notes to the cause.
