When real estate price were just returning to positive index the land sharks are again active in the adjacent areas of Kolkata Airport and Jessop can not be ignored as a prime land spot. Century old this factory is a gold mine for local and international land brokers; across party line all are ready to eat the pie who ever will oppose will loose the election funding hence once again fire broke out in Jessop premises just days after the police registered two cases after two separate fires broke out at the Jessop factory and was reported from the same factory premises on Monday evening.

Five fire tenders rushed to the spot from Airport and brought the fire under control. The police said that they are investigating the repeated incidents of fire within factory premises. But locals told the story which reported in the beginning of the article.

The present workers of Jessop and local residents though have alleged lack of supervision and hinted at sabotage behind the repeated fires. “It is clear that it is a planned attempt to ensure that Jessop is shut for ever and the property can be sold to real estate sharks. How can there be two fires when the police were trying to collect forensic evidence, now you have a third fire two days after Laxmi Puja.
We are asking all concerned persons to come forward and save this company,” claimed an union leader who said that workers’ dispensary and furniture are being targeted on gate 28.

People are ready to buy flats rather than having a Factory here and that has created the demand and supply gap to sky rocket the price once again.
