Kolkata the City of Joy or the Cultural Capital of India holds the lamp for spiritual knowledge for centuries after century showing the evolution of knowledge and spirituality in right perspective. Swami Vivekananda, Rishi Aurobindo and many other spiritual saints has made the city feel proud for her socio-cultural heritage.
The same torch has been carried forward by two distinguished institutions; as they joined hands to showcase the “History of Indian Evolution”. A great knowledge exchange session with participation of the scholars & viewers made it a real international event.

The day 1 of the event was a great success as Eminent Indologists and educationists graced the function. Sri Sanjeev Sanyal, Renowned Indologist, Writer, and Principal Economic Adviser to Finance Ministry, Government of India; Prof. Ajay K Roy, Director, IIEST Shibpur and Professor, IIT Kharagpur; Srimat Swami Bhajananandaji Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math Head Quarters, Belur Math; Swami Suparnanandaji, Secretary, Institute of Culture, RMIC, Gol Park; Prof. Sriman Bhattacharya, Former Director CBRI, Roorkee and current Deputy Director, IIT Kharagpur; Dr. Pradeep Pyne, Registrar, IIT Kharagpur were among many other distinguished guests.
The key Exhibition will continue for a month at 2nd Floor RMIC, Gol Park, for the convenience and sustained interest of visitors. Along with this seminar and exhibition there will be cultural evenings performed by Pt. Sanjay Chakravarty, Pt. Tanmoy Bose and his troupe and participation from IIT Kharagpur students.
