NASSCOM the leading IT association of IT Industry Leaders and de-facto nodal body for IT industry today felicitates West Bengal New IT minister Mr. Bratya Basu at an EM Bypass Hotel.
All Kolkata IT major was represented in the meet to congratulate the minister.
An open forum was arranged to exchange the views and suggestions to be placed before the honourable IT minister.
During the session many spot decisions were taken for consideration and active preview.
Bratya Basu told the guests that under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership Bengal will be in Top 3 states soon. A new portal for engagement will come up for IT industry.
Even when questioned why subsidies are not transferred as promised to the start-ups.
Mr. Basu told “if you are eligible you will get it. That is assurance from my side”
Representative of Ranks consultancy told minister that they can offer free of cost video meeting facility to West Bengal IT department for better face to face communication remotely.
Options on Education and Health care over Video Tele service is also available from them.
IBG NEWS handed over the congratulation letter to the minister in person and requested for better bandwidth for WiFi for journalists.
KolkataBloggers.Com Owner Mr.Anirban Saha raised an interesting idea that arranging “Hackathons” on different upcoming technological matters can create great involvement of the generation “Y” and associate them with the IT Ecosystem of West Bengal in future.
