Close to World Environment Day and making it the central theme, real estate agency, India Greens undertook an initiative, Prakriti Spriha, to create awareness about raging environment issues by exhibiting paintings, photographs and handicrafts. It also doubled up as a platform for promotion of upcoming and struggling painters.
The exhibition which went underway on June 3 at Gallery Gold was inaugurated by eminent painters Wasim Kapoor, Niranjan Pradhan and art critic Mrinal Das.
The exhibition displays a wide array of paintings by artists like Sudipta Kundu, Sankhajit Jana, Sushanta Paul and many others and also includes a variety of garments made from recycled fabrics of Fulia, designed by Nandan Das.
