Renault had tasted success in India in SUV segment with their flagship model Duster compact SUV here. Then Kwid joined the team to further enhance the presence in the segment. This is the time when French MNC car maker got back into the game. Now CAPTUR is the bet for the company to turn things around by entering a premium segment which has seen a significant amount of growth very recently.
The company is bringing in the Captur and 1.5 Lt Petrol or Diesel with 210 mm ground clearance surely going to catch the eyes of the Next Gen buyers. All LED head lamps and back lamps made it eye catching.
CAPTUR measures 4329 mm in length, 1813 mm in width and 1619 mm in height and this makes it slightly longer than the Duster.
The LED daytime running lights, AUDI like floating front indicators, black cladding, 17” alloys, ‘ripple effect’ taillights and even safety features like dual airbags, ABS and EBD are standard.
Renault will launch booking soon. But First Look show at Kolkata was just fabulous and informative.
