Even the most experienced political pundits will be scared to predict the what will be the final outcome of Karnataka Assembly Election 2018. It was BJP in the morning during the counting then it was Congress and JD(S) all set to form the government and now again BJP.

His Excellency Shri Vajubhai Vala the Governor of Karnataka has finally invited the BS Yeddyurappa of BJP to form the next government. The party’s elected candidate for the Chief Minister post, Shri BS Yeddyurappa will take oath at 9 am on Thursday.

The party has been given 15 days to prove majority in the house by the Governor. The BJP has 105 lawmakers, including an Independent, in the 222-seat assembly and is seven short of the magic figure to claim a majority.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, the Governor met a delegation of the Congress and JD(S) leaders, who also staked claim to form a government, claiming they have the majority.

All eyes now at apex court in New Delhi if any further twist comes in the story.
