Suvidha Napkins

‘Janaushadhi Suvidha’ sanitary napkins are available for sale through retail outlets under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) across the country at a price of Rs. 10/- for a pack of 4 napkins.
As on 18.07.2019, 5449 retail outlets are opened in the country under PMBJP. For logistics and distribution of the medicines sold under PMBJP (including Janaushadhi Suvidha), three modern warehouses have been established, one each at Gurugram, Bengaluru and Guwahati.
Sale of ‘Janaushadhi Suvidha’ sanitary napkins through Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras started in the year 2018-2019. As on 15.07.2019 about 28 lakh packs of ‘Janaushadhi Suvidha’ sanitary napkins have been sold under the PMBJP.
This information was given in a written reply by the Union Minister for the Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shri D. V. Sadananda Gowda in the Lok Sabha today.
