The Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Independent Charge), Shri Prakash Javadekar today inaugurated a new Digital Gallery of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) to Commemorate the Centenary Celebrations of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), in Kolkata on July 01, 2016.

Releasing the books of ZSI to Commemorate the Centenary Celebrations of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) also done by the minister incharge. The Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, Dr. Anita Prasad and the Minister of Environment, West Bengal, Shri Sovan Chatterjee are also seen.

The Minister also took part in felicitating Janaki Ammal National Awardees for Taxonomy to Commemorate the Centenary Celebrations of ZSI.
