Remember Khagragarh,Burdwan case of West Bengal; NIA pointed out the risk of JMB at that point of time itself.

Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), responsible for the Dhaka attack last week, also posing a real threat to Indian security also, especially in the bordering states like West Bengal,Tripura,Meghalaya and Assam. Investigators said they suspect six JMB leaders, who formed units in Burdwan, are still absconding and they could plan the attacks similar to Dhaka.

The NIA, which almost flushed out the outfit in 2014-15 with the aggressive arrest of several JMB members from India, is in regular touch with Bangladeshi counterparts. NIA had arrested 20 persons, including Bangladeshi nationals, in the Burdwan blast probe.

A bomb factory already built by JMB in India from where supply of bombs were taken to Bangladesh. The probe revealed that JMB had collected deadly chemical explosives in huge amount, apart from manuals for manufacture of grenade mortars and RPGs.

One of the main accused and conspirators – Bangladeshi national Shakil Gaza alias Shamin had come to India from district of Tangail, Bangladesh in the year 2007 as suspected.

He initially stayed in Metiaburuj, Kolkata another huge suspected place for terror transit by NIA and then shifted to Beldanga, Murshidabad adjacent to Bangladesh.

Shakil, had been hugely financed by JMB leader Kausar alias Boma Mizan for managing  activities in India while another Bangladeshi national Nasirrulah provided training in IED-making and explosive management to Indians inclined towards the terror group.

The NIA found “rigorous jihadi training” was provided at a madrassa in Lalgola, Murshidabad under supervision of one Sajid and Mohammad Yousef.

All these found by NIA while local authorities were unaware of these facts at that point of time.

Now the CM Mamata Banerjee has instructed stiff investigation to be made with any unknown face in boarder area of Bangladesh will bring needed momentum with the administration.
