Cox & Kings launches Vietnam and Finland with Baltic Nations at TTF Kolkata

Kolkata, 07th July 2018: TTF Day #2 at Kolkata saw a great surge of the crowd being present, at the Netaji Indoor stadium. A work of Art stalls of Bangladesh or Karnataka or Uttrakhand made it an exclusive destination for this weekend.
Even the Thailand and other countries made it a truly Global event of Tourism. Later in the afternoon Cox and Kings hosted a press meet to introduce Vietnam, Finland and other Baltic Nations.
Vietnam is less explored yet a historically and naturally beauty spot of Far East while Baltic Region and Finland is icing on the cake with Mid Night Sun and igloo resorts to enjoy the Arctic region at her best.

Celebrating 260 years, Cox & Kings Ltd., the oldest and leading tour operator with operations in 22 countries across continents held an exclusive seminar to launch special packages to Vietnam, Finland and the Baltic Nations in association with Embassy of Vietnam and Finland Tourism Board. The travel agents on-ground were benefitted by the interactive seminar organised to enable them to better market the destination. About 100 travel agents used the opportunity to network and solve their queries with the officials of tourism boards, the embassy and Cox & Kings during the seminar at India’s largest travel trade show network.
The special seminar is a part of the series of workshops and presentations that Cox & Kings has been organising to share unfiltered destination-specific knowledge with travel agents. These targeted seminars at trade shows including the one at TTF have been offering an interactive platform for the destinations to explore the Indian outbound segment.
Gracing the special occasion, delegates from the Embassy and Tourism board were also present. They interacted with the travel agents and presented the destination, its new routes, unique sights and customised itineraries. Another engaging presentation by the officials of Finnair shared the flight information and special offers for travel agents.
The agents hailing from across the country were also given access to special discounted rates to the Baltic Nations and Vietnam.
Increasing number of Indian tourists has been visiting both Finland and Vietnam who have recorded a substantial growth in the arrivals.
Finland had witnessed a robust growth of 42% in tourist arrivals and overnights from the Indian market in 2017.
Vietnam also witnessed an increase of 30% in 2017 as compared to its preceding year.
