V-Guard opens East Corporate Regional office in Kolkata Aims at consolidating reach in eastern India
Kolkata, May 3rd 2018: V-Guard Industries Ltd., India’s leading consumer electrical and electronics major, today opened its new corporate Regional office for the Eastern region to complement its ongoing endeavour to consolidate business outside the traditional stronghold of south India. The expansion to the eastern region of India further cements V-Guard’s vision to build a robust presence by becoming a pan-Indian brand.
V-Guard has overall witnessed a 15% contribution from Eastern Markets. This has enabled the company to reinforce its brand identity & channel expansion in emerging markets, in a bid to garner larger market share in the East.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mithun Chittilappilly, MD, V-Guard, said, “With tremendous success in the southern market, we are now focusing on strengthening our position in the non-south market, especially the East. This new office is an important development towards achieving our larger goal. It has been designed in alignment with our new identity that we have just unfurled and also in conjunction with the signature look that our offices will look to have going forward”
Eastern India is an important market for the company in terms of size and the business potential. “It couldn’t have been a better time to open the new office, just before the key season ahead.” he added.
The 3000 sq. ft. office will house over 40 employees and as a hub for branch offices of V-Guard in East India. Currently V-Guard has Six offices (in East) namely Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Ranchi, Guwahati & north eastern states.
