Nowadays all communications converge on mobiles and of course there are pitfalls – a whole lotta junk – caches if you please. That’s where Siftr Labs, founded by Romil Mittal and Mayank Bhagya, former Adobe employees, comes in. They have launched AI powered Magic Cleaner, April this year, that deletes junk images and videos that make its way into smart-phones via leading messenger apps like Whats App, Hike, Snap Chat, Line and Telegram. Already downloads have crossed about a lakh.
Romil Mittal, Co-founder, Siftr Labs says, “Cleaning up memory manually is a tedious task and junk cleaning apps currently available don’t provide AI powered auto cleaning solutions. Magic Cleaner is a first of its kind app which analyses and deletes unwanted images by scanning photo gallery of smartphones to zero in on junk pictures from smart phones thus freeing up memory space and making your phone work faster for you.”
Siftr has built a repository of more than 6 million images on it’s server; as a result, a user doesn’t have to upload most of the photos from his phone to the server.
MayankBhagya, Co-founder, Siftr Labs says, “Dr. Kleen analyses all your photos and videos within seconds, making use of the most advanced cutting technologies (deep learning and neural networks) to identify the junk photos coming from your messenger apps.” The app is also available in English, Malay, Spanish, Chinese, French, Portuguese, German and Italian. Magic Cleaner has witnessed traction from other countries like Brazil, Malaysia, Netherlands and Spain.
They first launched Siftr Photo Website Builder which would enable users to build a curated photo website of all the images they have shared on any social media. The Company recently secured seed funding of $150,000 from early-stage fund Venture Catalyst.
