First prize for excellent implementation of official language policy
Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North East) was awarded the first prize for the best implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Union Government in the third meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Office-4), Kolkata.
Inspector General Iqbal Singh Chauhan, Tatrakshak Medal, Commander, Coast Guard Region (North East) received the award. In this meeting, senior officers of the Member Office of Narakas (Office-4), Kolkata, and senior officers of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language were also present.
