The Amrit Station at Dankuni is all set to witness a comprehensive rejuvenation, ushering in a new era of modernity and convenience for rail travellers. As part of the visionary Amrit Bharat Scheme, this ambitious undertaking aims to elevate the station’s infrastructure and facilities to world-class standards, ensuring an enhanced and seamless experience for passengers.
A multi-faceted approach has been adopted to revamp the station, with a focus on various crucial areas:
- Surface Improvement: An extensive overhaul of the station’s ground surface, incorporating cutting-edge technology and materials to ensure a robust, safe, and durable foundation for the station premises.
- Construction of a New Station Building: The forthcoming architectural marvel will embody a fusion of contemporary design and functionality, offering a sophisticated and comfortable space for passengers to wait and relax.
- Horticulture and Concourse Area near Platform Number 1: A meticulously planned horticulture project will infuse natural beauty and serenity into the station’s ambiance.
