No doubt India has always been a torch bearer for civilization for centuries even before the world learned to count numbers. And during the pandemic, India showed the leadership under PM Modi how to care for humanity no matter whether you are friend or an enemy.
It is very unfortunate that even such an auspicious event is being dragged into the unwanted controversies of the boycott. It’s a national pride for the democratic process and people are doing other way walk to keep themselves relevant in the context.
