To that effect, Pro-social Peer Moderator Program, under the aegis of Dr. Samir Parikh, Director- Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, FMRI-Gurgaon and Dr. Sanjay Garg, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, ventures to bring in meta-awareness in congruence with academia amongst children and adolescents to prevent dire consequences.
It saw participation of students of Class VIII through XII from Calcutta Public School, Calcutta International School and the Heritage School, whereby they were taught the ropes through interactive sessions, to become Peer Moderators so” that they can go back to their respective schools and teach their fellow classmates to ask questions and filter what is being shown by the media around the world.”, said Dr. Parikh.
