Prominent peoples leader from Darjeeling Hills Sri Harka Bahadur Chetri is hopeful will new government in office of Nabanna.
Sri Chetri was attending the Oath taking ceremony of Ms. Mamata Banerjee at Red Road.
We had a chance to discuss with him in brief about the expectations of Hills from this new government.
He told “only last five years after independence Darjeeling saw some developments and we feel this time Didi will have better plan for Hills as well along with all Bengal”.
He also told that ” We must plan and do good for people, God has created us with good intension and we must act good for all. If we can not do good at least don’t do bad for mean self interest. This is my expectation from all.”
When we asked what went wrong in your seat this time and what is the reason for your defeat despite of being so popular in your place?
He smiled and said “I will continue to work for people and development of Hills. Hope message is clear to all.”
