When every where we see the heartless face of urban India some exceptions still are there in City of Joy and that’s why Kolkata is the number one City of Kolkata by kindness.
Right now at mid night we experienced such an incident near Baga Jatin More of Kolkata. I parked my car infront of Baga Jatin Market and when returned I noticed that rear left Tyre was flattened my younger daughter (8 years) and I was only there no one was ready to help.
I was helpless and due to health condition it was very difficult for me to change the Tyre. But all of sudden a young couple stopped there motor cycle and someone approached with polite and friendly voice, “May I help you”.
I was not sure what to say but grabbed the jog and said let me help you Sir. His wife was also very supportive and kind too.
He made his hands dirty and changed the Tyre.
They are none other than a angle for me by then.
When I asked about them they told they are Mr. Somnath Ghosh & his newly wed wife Rekha from Garia. Somnath is working with a private firm in a responsible post. When every one byepass this kind of helpless person either because of fear or ignorance this young couple proved that humanity is not a word in dictionary only you find live example in people like them.
