Buenos Aires, July 23. The scene is ready for action. The protagonists are anxious. All that is left is for the sun’s rays to light the youth Olympic flame this Tuesday, July 24, in Athens’ historic Panathenaic Stadium, the location of the first edition of the Olympic Games in the modern era in 1896.
The event at the Panathenaic Stadium will start at 11.00 local time (05.00 in Argentina) and will finish around 13.00 (07.00 in Argentina).
The youth Olympic flame will arrive in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, July 25, and will be received in an official act on Thursday, July 26. The event will take place at the Youth Olympic Village in the city of Buenos Aires.
