UNKNOWN FACTS ABOUT KASHMIR TERRORISM
The state of J&K Under India ( Area wise 101380 sq Km) Excluding Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) Kashmir: 15%, Jammu: 26% and Ladakh: 59%.
So, 85,000 sq Km comprising 85% area are not in Muslim Majority.
Now come to Population entire J&K is having 1.25 Crores people out of which Kashmir Vally having 69 Lakhs. Only 55 Lakhs speaks Kashmiri. Rest 13 lakhs speaks Non-Kashmiri languages. Jammu has 53 Lakhs which speaks Dogri, Punjabi, Hindi. Ladakh is having 03 Lakhs people and they are dominant in Ladakhi language as the mother tongue. This does not include 7.5 lakh people settled who do not have citizenship via PRC.
There are 22 districts in J&K. Out of which only 5 Districts where separatists have the say and facing so-called terror; these are Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramullah, Kulgam, and Pulwama.
Other 17 districts are Pro India. So separatist’s writ runs in just 15% of the population which are Sunni Muslim dominated they too all are not believing terror groups.
Interestingly these 5 districts are far away from Pakistan Border/LOC having major vested interest political dynasty as ruling political formations.
There are more than fourteen major Religious/ ethnic groups comprising 85% of the population of J&K who are Pro India.
These include Shias; Dogras: (Rajputs, Brahmins & Mahajans); Kashmiri Pandits; Sikhs; Buddhists ( Ladakhis ); Gujjars; Bakarwals; Paharis; Baltis; Christians & many more.
Those opposing bifurcation of Kashmir and end of Article 370 surely not connected with the people’s mind but having their own vested interest in mind.
It’s time for India to reclaim POK and Aksai Chin from invaders and illegal occupiers. Not only Kashmir but any part of India if anti-India factors seen must be eliminated from the land of India.
It’s Pay Back Time all historical blunders must be corrected and India should come out of Nehruvian mistakes and look into a brighter future.
