Bestfriendz Society organises Blind Couple Wedding Ceremony

Best Friendz Society an NGO in Kolkata have been working for this project “Kanyadaan”for about 8 years from now jointly initiated by The President Sri. Rajiv Lodha and Sri Rajat Lodha ,a member of the advisory Team .
The mission of Kanyaadan project of Bestfriendz is to raise funds to support the families to get their daughters married in order to save them from ailments like dowry and suicide due to lack of funds.BFS has sucessfully supoorted more than 20 such marriages beating all the odds . Bestfriendz supports specially those people who are orphan, less priviledges or physically handicapped .
Anjali & Sanjib are two such special couples who like a normal people dreamt of having a good married life . But the uncertaininity was this that they both cannot see the world with thier own eyes . Bestfriendz is supporting the marriage of this couple , who lives in the Homes of premaseee in ghatkpukur , to make thier Dreams come true.
“A healthy donation and creating awareness amongst the masss was the sole purpose of todays press conference said Sri Rajiv Lodha , President , Bestfriendz .
Srimati Papia Adhikary , wellknown cine star is one of the advisory members of Bestfriendz . She also took out her precious time to come and bless the couple . Similarly like her Suchetana De , Theather artist ; Moinak Mandal , Sathi Satpathi & Ajanta Panda Winners of Launcherz King Queen 2019 were present to at the press conference .
A cheque of Rs.35,000/- was gifted to the couples for thier healthy and happy livlihood . Other than this members also presented token of gifts from thier end to the couple who will tieing thier knot on 15th Dec 2019 .
According to the trio (Moinak , Sathi & Ajanta ) young enthusiast like them should participate more and more and volunteer for such activities. Helping is part of life and it creates a philanthropist within you .
Bestfriendz Society has been working in Kolkata and nearby for more than a decade empowering and educating children and women through various activities by the support of its local partners and various volunteering organisation .
