Former Bangladesh Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has died

Former Bangladesh health minister and Awami League leader Mohammad Nasim, who was in life support, has died. His son Tanvir Shakil Joy and Bangladesh Specialized Hospital chief executive Al Imran Chowdhury confirmed the deaths on Saturday (June 13th). Hospital authorities announced his death at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday (June 12) night, the Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and the head of the medical board formed for him, Dr. Kanak Kanti Barua said the medical board met at night. While in life support, new heart problems have appeared. This was not a problem before.
Mohammad Nasim was admitted to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on June 1 with pneumonia. If the coronavirus is tested while undergoing treatment there, the result is positive. However, the results of three consecutive corona tests of Mohammad Nasim have come negative recently. He had a stroke on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at the hospital. On the same day, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Professor of Neuro Surgery. The surgery was led by Raziul Haque. He had had a stroke once before. All in all, the doctors commented that his condition is very critical.
