BANGLADESHI BOY INADVERTENTLY ENTERED INDIAN TERRITORY WHILE CUTTING GRASS, BSF HANDED OVER TO BGB AS GOODWILL

On January 19, 2022 at about 1430 hrs, on duty jawans of Border Out Post Madhugiri, 141 Battalion apprehended a Bangladeshi boy from its area of responsibility. The identity of the apprehended Bangladeshi national is Muhammed Likhon Ali (age 13 years), S/o- Muhammed Salaam, Village- Muhammadpur, Post- Insafnagar Police Station-Daulatpur, District-Kustia (Bangladesh).
The apprehended Bangladeshi boy revealed that he belongs to a poor family and had come today to cut grass for his cattle and did not know that he had unknowingly crossed International Boundary and entered into Indian territory.
The apprehended Bangladeshi boy has been handed over to the BGB as a goodwill gesture after holding a flag meeting.
The Public Relations Officer stated that our jawans keep a close eye on people crossing the border in any way along with illegal infiltration along the International Boundary. BSF has handed over to the BGB, Bangladesh, as a goodwill gesture after investigating the arrested Bangladeshi boy.
