The President signed the Executive Order On Awarding the Title of Hero of the Russian Federation to Senior Lieutenant Alexander Popov.

The title of Hero of the Russian Federation has been awarded to Senior Lieutenant Alexander Popov (posthumously) for courage and heroism displayed in the performance of military duty.
