The President of the Russian Federation is receiving numerous telegrams and messages of greetings on his 70th birthday from foreign heads of state and government, heads of international organisations, and public figures
In addition, Vladimir Putin received phone calls from the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, the President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa.
During these telephone conversations, bilateral relations, as well as topical international issues, were discussed.
Today, leaders of CIS countries will also offer their birthday greetings to Vladimir Putin during their informal meeting.
