During his address, Mr. Kakkar said that Advertising is about tomorrow. It is about the future. As an advertiser, one needs to understand what the future is. “The future is the dreams of the young people of how they can better themselves, the Society and the Country,” said Mr. Kakkar.
Citing some of the classic examples, Mr. Kakkar said that as an advertiser, one needs to tap into the dreams and create a story which is worth engaging and can be recalled by the target audience. Moreover, he stressed on the fact that a story can only compel the audience to buy a product and make it a success. Henceforth, it is necessary for an advertiser to make compelling stories that can pull the audience and it can happen only if we can go in depth into the dreams of today’s youth.
The Masterclass was attended by students and faculty members of various colleges and universities across the State namely Adamas University, Amity University, Brainware University, SNU and many more.
“The session was wonderful and fascinating. Within a short time, the entire audience knew about the prerequisites of a good advertisement. I thank Mr. Kakkar for this wonderful session and would appreciate more such sessions in the future,” said Shri Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
