MCCI TO PARTNER WITH PRESIDENCY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CALCUTTA
FOR ITS SOCIAL GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS
Having begun its foray into the CSR space with the maiden CSR Conclave, The Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry continued to bring stakeholders together in its latest step, with a partnership for the Social grant Application Process for the Presidency Alumni Association Calcutta. MCCI has also signed a MoU with a national NGO working in education.
Presidency Alumni Association Calcutta, in association with Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, invited grant applications for interventions in social sector space located in and around Kolkata prioritizing education, water &sanitation, environment and projects from any segment located in the College Street ecosystem. The last date for submittinggrant applications was November 30, 2022.
As Chamber partner for the project, Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry is responsible for partnering in publicizing the grant application with relevant NGOs and shortlisting the grant applications.
The applications will be evaluated at the sole discretion of Presidency Alumni Association Calcutta and the awardees will be announced jointly with MCCI.The grant benefits comprise of networking opportunity with its global alumni and financial support released as per milestones set by project requirement within a maximum period of 3 years.
