A Dream Come True for Antara Nandy – Her First Bengali Original, “Chandni Raate’

“Working in the Bengali industry has been a dream for me. ‘Chandni Raate’ hasn’t just made that dream come true but it helped me discover a new side of me as an artist.,” says Antara Nandy.

After the roaring success of her super hit song, “Alaikadal” in the movie, PS-1, Antara Nandy records her first Bengali original with composer, Nilanjn Ghosh. “Chandni Raate” is a Bengali Original with a unique soundscape and the video features Antara Nandy, Amrita Halder and Ricky Tewary.

“We are thrilled to publish Antara’s 1st Bengali Original Song; a singer who has also recorded for A. R. Rahman. It is indeed a privilege to be a small part of her musical journey. Our thanks to Nilanjan for bringing such a stand out composition our way. The music video is sensual and romantic just like a moonlit night. We are hopeful that listeners will welcome this creation,” says Creative Director, Jonai Singh.

“I am eternally grateful to Jonai di for this opportunity, to Nilanjn da for making this phenomenal song and for being super supportive throughout the process, to the entire crew for putting together a stunning video, to Anupam da for making me look my best! I can wait for everybody to hear this song, adds Antara.

Upholding the mission of supporting independent music and young artists, JSE Music will launch the song “Chandni Raate” from their You Tube Channel on January 14th.
