Last 11th June 2023 Karigori Kobiyal had shot for the first day of their legendary Mahisasura Mardini in English. This unique creation has been created by Supriyo Sengupta.

He dedicated the creation to his mother late Snigdhita Sengupta. The English lyrics were first translated by Supriyo Sengupta’s respected sir Nirmal Chandra Saha. Later Supriyo edited the lyrics and started his legendary work.

We were glad to be with team Karigori Kobiyal on that special day. There we found a disguised Koushik Bannerjee, who was playing the role of Lord Shiva. A disguised Amitava Dey as Mahisasura. Prosenjit Halder was playing the role of the soldier of Mahisasura. Lastly, a disguised Nayanika Paul as Goddess Durga. The director Probal Chakraborty gave his best to the project. Each and every member of the team gave their whole effort and love to the work. They said that they were glad to be a part of this unique creation. Also, there were some members without whom the project could not be a successful one. The one is the makeup artist of the project, Bina Sengupta. She was there from the very beginning and gave her best. The others were Suparna Chakraborty and Jayasree Sengupta. They were the production managers. The whole team of Mahisasura Mardini in English gave the best to be successful.

Hopefully, they will again gift a successful creation to the world this year as well.
