26TH NATIONAL DEFENCE EXHIBITION
Central Calcutta Science and Culture Organisation for Youth showcased the development, empowerment, and achievements of modern India in the 26th National Exhibition with the participation of different Ministries of State and Central Government.
The theme of the Exhibition was “Contribution to Make Advanced, Powerful and Great India” which will help multiple sectors like science and technology, health, agriculture, defence, and some public sectors to showcase their contributions.
Under the aegis of Headquarters Eastern Command the Indian Army conducted a special display on 24th-27th August 2023 at Central Park Maidan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata showcasing its Military strength by exhibiting various war equipment like Zu Gun, IGLA, and other Infantry and engineer equipment. The display was organised by Headquarters Eastern Command & was attended by a large number of visitors across all age groups. The exhibition was educational for professionals and students alike who were motivated to chase their dreams and make bigger visions for the future of India.
Pipe Band display of 4th Battalion 9th Gorkha Rifles (CHINDITS) caught the attention of guests during the opening ceremony.
