Vi felicitated 5,000+ Teachers across Bengal to celebrate Teachers’ Day

Knowledge is the foundation of a society and a teacher is the main medium to impart knowledge. On the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, celebrating Teachers’ Day, Vi the leading telecom operator took on a noble initiative of paying respect to the teachers for their immense contribution to the society.
Under this initiative, Vi felicitated over 5,000 teachers across Bengal who have tirelessly worked towards the betterment of the students from all strata of life. Reaching out to the teachers across Govt. and private schools of rural and urban Bengal, Vi expressed gratitude to the teachers with a special memento, for their enormous contribution in shaping a society and many generations.
Presenting the teachers with a token of gratitude, Naveen Singhvi, Cluster Business Head, East, Vodafone Idea Ltd. remembered a famous quote by Rabindranath Tagore “The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but that makes our life in harmony with all existence.” He also said “Every individual has a mentor or teacher who has played a pivotal role in guiding them towards their dreams. As Indians take the country to different heights across the world, the credit goes to the teachers who have shaped them and contributed to the overall growth of the nation. With this, Vi thanks the teachers for encouraging curious minds, fostering growth, and igniting the love for learning amongst students. This gesture is a testament to the brand’s deep respect for the teaching community.”
