ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT DISPLAY FOR NCC CADETS IN SILCHAR, ASSAM
Assam Rifles under Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a weapon and equipment display for NCC cadets in Masimpur Military Station on 08 Sep 2023. This event included a display of weapons, and equipment followed by a motivational lecture to educate the cadets about the history of the Armed Forces and the important role played by the Army & AR. The display was organised with a view to enlighten the cadets about the defence forces and encourage them to join the Armed Forces.
The display offered an opportunity for the NCC cadets to have first-hand experience of witnessing infantry weapons. The inquisitiveness and enthusiasm to see the weapons and equipment in the inventory of the army were evident during the conduct of the event. The young aspirants were counselled and informed of various career opportunities in Army/AR.
